Profile of Pat Kennedy
Pat Kennedy cares about and believes in people. He has experienced firsthand the roller-coaster that is called life. This means he can really empathise with his clients.
Pat’s coaching strengths include the facility to focus on what’s really important and the ability to build rapport and trust with his clients. His integrity and total client focus is the hallmark of his work. He enjoys seeing clients’ confidence and energy increase leading to significantly better results for them and their organisations. His style is to support positively and challenge appropriately in a friendly relaxed way. He believes the process, whilst it may or may not be challenging, can also be fun.
His strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and considerable management, sales, and marketing experience, has led him to working on a wide variety of projects. His main areas of focus are Career Coaching, Executive Coaching, Sales & Performance Coaching and Personal Coaching. “It is truly amazing what we can do when we challenge our self limiting beliefs. Just by getting out of our own way we allow ourselves to fully be who we can be” says Pat, who loves nothing better that working with someone who is willing to take risks, try something new and is open to looking on things differently.
Committed to ongoing personal development, Pat is one of the first coaches in Ireland to gain a Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. He is a PCC accredited coach, with the International Coach Federation (ICF), one of only four coaches in Ireland that hold this level of accreditation. He embraces the ICF Code of Ethics. He is currently working with UK based Coaching Development Ltd. to continue to developing his coaching skills further and is a Mentor Coach on their current training programme.
Pat’s background is in Sales and Marketing Management. His career experience includes working with AIB Bank, PolyGram Ireland, The Irish Times and a number of local radio stations including LMFM and Shannonside/Northern Sound. In addition he has also run his own company Media Partners. He has worked as a professional coach and trainer since 2005.
He enjoys reading, radio, current affairs, music and walking.
Originally from Rathfarnham in South Dublin he now lives near Navan in Co. Meath with his wife and two sons.
